Cova Santa vs Pacha
Cova Santa, unless your trip includes a Thursday. It is smaller, cheaper, better outdoors and full of people in their thirties who chose it deliberately. Pacha is worth it for Flower Power and genuinely not worth it otherwise.
You want the night the residents would pick: open air, 1,200 people, excellent sound, home by five and not ruined the next day.
It is Thursday and Flower Power is on, or you want to see the room that made Ibiza famous and you accept you are paying for the name.
Where the two actually differ.
Lime marks the winner of each round. Prices verified late July 2026, paid at the door.
€40–60. Midweek at €40 is the sweet spot and the only time it is not oversold.
€45–70. Flower Power sits around €50 and is the only night that justifies it.
Excellent outdoors, which is the harder thing to achieve. Nothing is fighting a ceiling.
Good, not exceptional. For the most famous club in Ibiza, that is a real criticism.

So which one do you book?
Pacha is the most famous club in Ibiza and, for most of the week, it is coasting on that. The sound is good rather than exceptional, the door is the strictest on the island, and a substantial share of the room is there because of the name on the awning. At €70 on a headline night that is a poor trade.
Cova Santa is the opposite proposition: almost nobody arrives having heard of it, and almost everybody leaves recommending it. An open-air terrace at 1,200 capacity, excellent sound because there is no ceiling to fight, and a crowd in their thirties who researched their night. Midweek at €40 it is one of the best-value tickets on the island.
The exception is real and it is Flower Power. Thursday at Pacha is genuinely one of the best parties in Ibiza — the costumes and the crowd are half the event, the music is unrecognisable from the rest of the week, and it is worth arriving early for. If your trip includes a Thursday, spend it there.
Weigh the taxi honestly. Cova Santa's €40 ride is its one weakness and it closes most of the €10–20 door gap; shared two ways it is €20 each. If you are staying in Ibiza Town and walking home from Pacha, the two nights cost roughly the same money — at which point pick on the night rather than the number.

- For Flower Power on a Thursday, yes, and enthusiastically. For a standard weekend night at €70 with good-not-exceptional sound and the strictest door on the island, no — that money buys a better night at Amnesia, DC-10 or Cova Santa. Go for the one night that is actually distinctive.

- Because it is open air at 1,200 capacity, which means the sound is clean, the crowd is manageable and you can hear the person next to you. It closes at four or five rather than six, so the night has a shape. And it attracts people in their thirties who picked it deliberately rather than because it was the famous one.
- What is the total cost of each night?
- Cova Santa midweek is roughly €114 all in — €40 door, €54 for three drinks, €20 as your half of the taxi. Pacha for Flower Power is roughly €110 — €50 door, €60 for three drinks, and nothing for the walk home if you are in Ibiza Town. They are effectively the same money, which is why the calendar decides it.
- How strict is the Pacha door really?
- The strictest on the island, for both ID and appearance. Trainers and shorts that pass at DC-10 or Eden will be refused here. Bring physical ID even if you look thirty-five, and dress as though you are going somewhere. There is also no re-entry, which catches out people who assume that being in town means they can pop out.
