Eden vs Es Paradís
Eden, on almost every night of the week. It is cheaper, the sound is better than it has any right to be, and the door staff are the most reasonable on the island. Es Paradís is worth exactly one visit, for the Fiesta del Agua water party, and you should treat that as a novelty rather than a night out.
You want the cheapest proper big room in Ibiza, you are staying in San Antonio, and you would rather spend the saved €40 on a boat trip.
Your trip includes a Tuesday and you have never done the water party. Go once, wear nothing you care about, and do not expect the music to be the point.
Where the two actually differ.

€20 midweek, €35 at the Saturday ceiling. That €20 barely moves all summer, which is unheard of here.
€30–45. The water party is at the top of that range, and it is the only night most people go.
Surprisingly strong for the price. Refitted, and it holds up against rooms charging three times the door.
Fine. Adequate for commercial dance, and nobody at a water party is listening critically anyway.
3,000 capacity, no pretence, and honest about what it is. A big dark club that gets on with it.
2,500 capacity with a genuinely beautiful pyramid roof, then they fill the floor with water and none of it matters.
Midweek resident nights at €20 — the value floor for a proper big room anywhere on this island.
Fiesta del Agua. Ridiculous, memorable, and genuinely unlike anything else in Ibiza. Once.
Young, largely British, cheap rounds, good humoured. You will not find many residents.
The water-party crowd, which means stag and hen groups and a lot of phones in waterproof pouches.
Walkable from most San Antonio beds. Zero taxi cost, which is worth €25–30 a head.
Also walkable, and you will be soaking wet, so this genuinely matters.
From €400 — the one table minimum on the island that makes arithmetic sense for six or more.
From €350, the lowest anywhere, but you are buying a novelty rather than a night.
So which one do you book?
These two sit two hundred metres apart and get lumped together as the cheap San Antonio options, but they are not interchangeable. Eden is a value big room that happens to be cheap. Es Paradís is a themed night that happens to be in a club.
On a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, Eden at €20 is the single best-value ticket in Ibiza and we would send anybody there without hesitation. Three drinks and a walk home puts you at roughly €56 all in, against €130 for the equivalent night at Amnesia — and the room is louder and fuller than the price suggests.
The exception is the water party, and it is a real exception. Fiesta del Agua at Es Paradís is one of the few genuinely distinctive things left on the commercial end of the island, and it is worth the €40 once. Wear shoes you can throw away, leave anything electronic at the hotel, and accept that you are there for the spectacle rather than the DJ.
If you are choosing a base and both are equally walkable, that walk is worth more than either door price. Two people saving a €30 taxi twice in a week have saved more than a full extra night at Eden.

The sound system was refitted and holds up against rooms charging €70, the capacity means it fills properly, and the door staff are the most reasonable on the island about groups and re-entry. It is not booking the credible underground line-ups, and it does not pretend to. If you want a big room that goes off without spending €130, this is the answer.
- What is the Fiesta del Agua actually like?
- They fill the dancefloor with water and foam and a crowd of a couple of thousand people spends five hours getting soaked to commercial dance. It is chaotic and very funny, and it is the only reason to choose Es Paradís over Eden. Wear nothing you like, bring cash rather than cards, and expect your phone to get wet even in a pouch.
- Which is cheaper for a whole night out?
- Eden, by a clear margin midweek. Both charge €12 a drink and both are walkable from San Antonio beds, so the difference is almost entirely the door: roughly €56 all in at Eden against €71 at Es Paradís on a water-party night, assuming three drinks each.
- Will a stag or hen group get into either?
- Both are more relaxed about groups than the Playa d'en Bossa clubs or Pacha, which is exactly why San Antonio attracts them. Split into pairs at the door rather than arriving as twelve, keep matching outfits out of sight, and neither will give you trouble. Eden is the more forgiving of the two.
