Cova Santa

Cova Santa is the venue islanders send you to when they've decided you're serious. It's built around a cave in the hills at Sant Josep — mostly open-air, 1,200 capacity, olive trees, and a terrace that looks like somebody's very good party rather than a nightclub.

The programming is curated instead of headline-driven, the crowd is in its thirties and there for the music, and because it's outdoors and small the whole thing feels human in a way the Bossa superclubs simply cannot. It also finishes earlier, around four or five, which most people find is a feature.

The only real catch is logistics: it's rural, there's nothing nearby, and you must arrange transport in both directions. Budget €25–40 each way from Ibiza Town. Worth every cent of it.

Who it's for

Go if: Anyone in their thirties, and anyone tired of superclubs.

Don't bother if: People without transport sorted, and anyone wanting a 6am finish.

What it costs

If the door price is the problem, Eden is the cheaper option at €20–35 — the best value big room on the island. no pretence at all.
